About Me

As the Lead Designer at Pana, I have been helping pioneer the Design processes and Design Systems in a small Product Team. When Covid started taking hold last March, we made a large pivot to deliver a completely new product. Despite being a travel start-up in unprecedented times for business travel, we were able to successfully launch a new product that ultimately led to Pana being acquired by Coupa Software in early 2021.

When I first moved to Denver, I was recruited to be a Senior UX Design Consultant at Google for their enterprised payments team. Our team was paving the way for a better enterprise experience within the Google Pay platform. I was in charge of design for a new internal tool to handle invoice disputes.

Before Google, I was working for Nordstrom Trunk Club as a Senior Product Designer. At Trunk Club, I helped lead the way on several successful product features and helped level up our design team's prototyping process and file naming conventions.

I am originally from Fairbanks, Alaska but I moved to Seattle, Washington after graduating from high school to pursue my passion for music. It was through helping my various bands with t-shirt and poster designs that I started to explore the world of Design.

In 2010, I started school at the University of Washington, and in the spring of 2011, I was accepted into the highly competitive design program where I decided to focus on Interaction Design.

I am very passionate about thoughtful, simple, tested, and well-researched solutions. I believe good design comes from collaboration across teams (not just from designers) and rapid iteration with stakeholders and engineers.
